Getting a fair price from insurance company

My 2000 9-3 5-door was rear-ended Sunday afternoon and with the repair estimate from the body shop right around $8300, it looks like the other driver's insurance company will decide to total my 9-3. According to the NADA site and the Kelly Blue Book site, the fair retail price for me 9-3 with mileage, the options it has, etc., comes out to about $9500-$9900. Any advice on how to negotiate with the insurance company if they offer me significantly less than that?
As I had planned to keep my 9-3 for another 5 years or so to save up money for the next car (maybe a 9-3 sporthatch by that time), I guess I am now in the market for a 2002 9-3 hatch.
Thanks again to everyone on Saabnet, you helped me get a lot out of my first Saab and I look forward to your advice and help on my next Saab.
Mark
