First of all, I really like my camera. They control feature is really cool. I have 7 points in the view finder that I can look at to tell the camera where to focus...so it makes shooting with the auto focus really easy. It's great for off-center subjects. Usually you have to point a camera where you want it to focus, then move it to get the shot you want...sometimes this trows off the exposure, because the camera measures light at the same time it focuses...but with mine, it focuses and measures light using the actual image its going to capture. Very cool.
I'll look into the rebel and 20D when I get a digital body SLR...but that's no time soon (Its a money thing, unless you want to send me some cash!?) I've gotten used to the advanced features of my Elan, so I might just end up getting Canons Cats' Meow when I do it.
