Starting to shop around for some summer tires and came accross this site introducing the new Nokian Z performance tire that was JUST released this month. Some places are still awaiting their batch orders.

Talked to 5-6 different places and they all raved about these tires up and down. Nice thing is they use no harmful oils that will affect the environment, and two places literally said "These things are like driving on velcro...sticky as can be." Also...one place told me they have a 280 treadwear rating (just comparing to other tires in its class), but the rest all said 400 tread wear...bonus!

Has anyone tried these? Heard of? I'm so happy with my Nokian WR's for winter that I thought I might give these a shot. Local place said about $175/each for 225-45-17 with a high load rating...not too shabby. They also said they will put the OEM Michelin Pilot Primacies to shame.
