OT:Small engine diagnosis & repair help Posted by Gregg [Email] (#677) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Gregg) on Tue, 17 May 2005 17:59:46 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I went to cut my lawn today my lawn mower started poorly and began to immediately burn a lot of oil. The oil burning is a continuous event while running. Any help to diagnose the problem would be greatly appreciated.
Here is some background. This is the third summer I've owned the lawn mower (4 hp Briggs & Stratton). I've performed tune-ups each of the last two years. This last tune-up was about a month ago (3 mowings) and I replaced the spark plug, air filter, and oil (went synth), and blade. The mower seemed to be running very smoothly since the last tune-up until today.
Thank you in advance.
