I grew up in St. Louis, and am pretty familiar with the local car guys.
You have 3 options on the Missouri side of the river, and nothing in Illinois.
St. Charles Saab is brand new, but I think they share space with the Nissan dealer. I was never impressed with them as a Nissan or VW facility.
Sinclair Saab is also new to the Saab business. They're pretty far south. I can't speak to their service, but the Sinclair dealerships have been around forever and have a good reputation. This one sells Buick, GMC, and Saab. Saab is their first attempt at an upmarket brand.
West County Saab is a Saab / Volvo facility, and has had the marque for the longest of the existing dealers in town. They're likely to be the most snobby and expensive. They're also in an upscale part of the city, so foreign cars and customers with high expectations are common there.
Which would I recommend? I guess it depends on where in town you'll be. West County is probably going to be the most reliable and experienced. But it'll probably come down to location.
