elasticity, absolutely--but the curve looks pretty grim for GM cars--other than saab, most are so bad it would be hard to give them away; ugly, handle like boats, brakes mush--based on repeaeted renting experiences. what has always amazed me is how much better the gm cars drive in europe. they can do it, just not in the us.
i have faith that gm will notice how poorly the cars continue to sell except for Saab. the question is what will they do with the results--promote saab designers or dilute them into the other failed brands. of course i hope for the former.
