I picked up a pretty cool blue t-shirt from these folks at SOC, Im sure you all saw them (Blue t-shirts that read Saab on the front in yellow &sports car service inc. (302)-764-SAAB on the back).
Well that same day, not very long after I had bought the shirt from the friendly owner, I was standing around with a few buddies while Jon from SaabSavior was doing a short shifter install on a friends 9K Aero, when, a man driving a white sonett pulled up about 10 feet from me, he was reving the engine very hard and was yelling something to me...I couldn't make out what he was saying at all! All I could hear was that noisy sonett he was in, I finally heard what he said, he was looking at me, yelling "can you move that please?!" in a very rude manner.....I had NO CLUE as to what he wanted me to move...I thought at first he wanted me to move a car, so I said "It's not mine"....he repeated himself a few more times, still in a rude manner until someone else realized a cooler was blocking his path a good 25 feet in front of him...so this person went and moved it for him, so he could pass through.
I felt like this was pretty rude of this fellow, and was told that it was the owner and the buissness that was on the shirt I was wearing. If it didn't have the cool Saab lettering &plane on the front, I would probley chuck it because of his rude behavior. My friends who were with me were all like "WTF???!!" when he acted like that, they all thought the same thing I was thinking.
SOC '05 otherwise kicked but &I had a wonderful time, luckily, I met many cool people and saw a lot of really nice cars to let it bother me to much, just thought it was worth sharing.
