I would think that a little tweak in a frame should be no big deal; wouldn't bother me. But I'd be leery if it was a major bend (like a kink) or especially if it had to be welded. The guy here photos everything before he does the repairs, so you kind of know what was what, and he's real good at disclosing everything (have to do that to stay in business in a small town); that's the advantage of buying from the place that does the repairs. Is that what you're doing? Personally, I'd be more leery if it had been shipped in from out of state or something. The salvage title will always void a warranty, and that will show up on the VIN files eventually. Friend of mine bought an A4 that had been in water and got about six months of warranty coverage before Audi figured it out. You might check your state laws. Here, a car doesn't get a rebuilt title until it passes a state inspection; the rebuilder has to take it to the capital to get the title. That may be why the insurers are OK with it, since they know the state does the checking for them. Basically, it comes down to how bad the damage was and how much you trust the repairman. I think of it like this: if my car had that kind of damage, would I let the insurance company repair it or would I scream for a total? If the former, then I'm OK with it as long as the price is right. Sounds like your price is right.
