Remember if you turn your car back in to Saab there will be a 20 cents per mile charge, plus any excess wear and tear, did the dealer allow for that? Do the prices quoted include any help for your mileage hit? What did they mean by unload your car?
If you can give yourself permission to afford the Aero you'll love it, the ultimate Saab. Nothing wrong with a Linear though. You are definitely making a smart move going from a 9-3 to a 9-5. The 9-5 is the perfected Saab, excellent luxury, excellent reliability as per the consumer mags and JD Powers, and the Aero is the top 9-5 you can get. Do the sport seats, 17's and sport suspension appeal to you? If you have doubts about that go with the Linear. Aero folks just know they want that stuff and an Aero.
The Linears your looking at are price at about "mid book", half way between actually Kelley wholesale and retail, a fair price for a CPO car. The Aero is priced strong, almost retail, you might try 'em on at a thou or two less. Do the Linears have the premium package the tip off being memeory seats? That get's you the Harmon Kardon sound. The premium package is standard on the Aero. Does the Aero, or the Linear have the xenons, park assist, rain sensing wipers or perhaps vented seats? Those are nice features that don't add to the book value.
