Yeah,
That's the one; what the hell is that all about?
ConEd plates are exceptionally nasty because they look harmless but pack a bite. I went to check out the Underground Swede one night and almost sank the entire front end; those brakes on the Aero are MONSTROUS though and I stopped short.
Do you think 39PSI is excessive? I found the Avons a bit floppy/soft and my sidewalls have a max PSI of 61 (!) maybe they're meant to run a bit high. Other tires I've had showed a max PSI of 51; dunlops or pirellis.
If I have them at 35-36 and hit a pothole or expansion joint the rubber will give and the force will transfer through to the rim; at least that's how I think it works. I'm worried as it is about the suspension and every bump hurths within. I give my suspension 18 months before it squeaks, sways and gives up ghost (OEM ghost).
I've had two encounters now and the rims are still true; I've had them balanced/checked post trauma.
Have you sustained any suspension damage? Do Saab suspensions take a beating well?
Thanks,
Tom
