Just bought a new Saab: the SAME Saab!

My, what a deliciously serendipitous tale I have for you!
A few weeks ago, I was diagnosed with chondromalacia in my knees and ordered to take 1,500mg of glucosamine & chondroitin sulfate for an indefinite but extended period of time. Yuck. Orthopedic surgeon said absolutely no more driving a manual transmission... which means goodbye steel grey 2002 9-3 SE, charcoal interior, premium package.
While initially distraught and very upset, I later chose to take it as an opportunity to investigate the possibility of buying a "package #6" Toyota Prius... yes, and abandon Saab... but I wanted to wait for the 2006 model (lots of improvements and tweaks) and with overwhelming demand, especially here in San Francisco, it could be half a year before I even test drive one.
So this Tuesday, on a whim, I took a trip down to my favorite dealer, Burlingame Saab in San Mateo, CA. Lo and behold, right there on the lot shone a pristine steel grey 2002 9-3, premium package, charcoal interior, automatic, and of course Saab Certified!!! I explained my situation to the friendly sales team and an hour and a half later I drove off with my new CPO Saab, financed through Saab Financial.
It is beautiful, and in absolutely flawless condition. The car is of course identical to my previous one, except for the trans. I couldn't be happier, and my knees are quite pleased!
I LOVE YOU SAAB!!!
