The Spanish flu of 1918 had a mortality rate of about 2.5%. One billion were infected world wide.
The bird flu so far has a 1.5% mortality rate.
Latest Marburg outbreak, around 330 in the Congo, had a 89% mortality rate.....That is the one that scares me if it mutates to infect via air.
