I may put these on the roof of my soon-to-be-ordered 9-3 SportCombi, and they might save fuel for you if you have a wagon or SUV,(unless the roof rack makes them not work). They don't look so good, (big because they're for trucks, but on the roof, nobody will really see. The science behind them seems sound. On semi-trucks, they save up to 10% on fuel economy, heard of the same with a HOnda CR-V. If you just put them on the roof of a wagon, I'm guessing that you could gain 2-4%.
By the way, they stick on the vehicle with strong adhesive and I heard they're working on smaller versions for cars and light trucks.
