I recommend that you post the actual problems over on the 9000 board. One question would be, how is the motor malfunctioning? Does it blow at all? Is it stuck on HI? Does it make funny noises?
A common failure is for the fan to be stuck on HI. This is NOT usually a failure of the ACC (climate control), but of the blower motor controller. That's a little electronic unit mounted on the fan. Actually, it's a failure of a transistor in the fan controller module, but most techs replace the controller. It's about $100 (I think).
Post the symptoms to the 9000 board. It may not be the ACC unit itself.
