If car sales interests you, try it. Doing what you enjoy, believe in, and have a real interest in will lead you to a rewarding career. Top successful car salesmen can make up to $200K/year.....the caveat is that you will only see this potential if you really enjoy it and belive in it as a career.

Do not be deterred be those who characterize "most people" as seeing car salesmen as thieves. Most people still rspond well to honesty and personal integrity.

Your first few years after college should be viewed as exploratory. You have to try things that appeal to you. The advice and opinion of others is only that....you alone have to try the idea, and make the decision to continue or alter your course.

I did sales for several years with IBM. The experience taught me that sales can be rewarding, and that it is honorable and honest work.
