Hhaha ...that's funny......i wonder how many new bmw's M5 will they sell with V8 ???........
Almost the same thing happened to me a few weeks ago.After looking at every possible place to buy me a C900 ....without any results........i went down the street to a car dealer (i live in nyc)that only sells used american and japanese cars.So i went there and told the guy that i'm looking for a classic 900 (88-93) for a fair price.....maybe a conv...i told him and he said well, it's going to be tough because people don't usually sell them until spring,ohhhhh ok i said ,so a hatchback or four door maybe?????? So we talked for a little while and he tells me to bring the money for the downpayment and that he is going to try and look for it at the auctions somewhere in PA or NJ. I said ok and as i was about to walk out he tells me """" they have rotary engines-right"?????--i turned around and looked at him DUMBFOUNDED and said uhhhh yeah that's right....and i walked out-----------never came back......
Well I have no idea what he meant by thaat,did he want to test my knowledge,see if he could get more money from me or maybe he just wanted to sound professional ? I don't know ,after i heard that i never came back.
Well i guess you can't have too much good salespeople..hahah
As of now i'm driving a beautifull 93 c900 sedan(manual) with 79230 miles for $2,300...and i didn't need no dealer to find one.
I guess you have to be patient.
