Can anyone explain to me the relative merits of using a relay to switch ground vs. positive?
In the past, I've always run the positive current through an SPST relay, connecting the battery to pin 30 and the device to pin 87. I recently picked up a set of Hella driving lights, and they advise wiring ground through these pins.
Is there any real advantage to running ground vs. positive through the relay?
