Sold our '93 900S vert last night. Had her for 70k relatively trouble free miles. Going south to live in Chula Vista and work in the Gaslamp district in downtown San Diego. My wife loved that car but kinda' wanted an automatic so we replaced it with a '96 900SE V6 vert. For $1,500 I was able to upgrade us from a '93 900S with 160k to a '96 SE V6 with 79k, but that doesn't include the spiffin' up of the new to us '96. Not all that confident we made the right choice to upgrade as my wife was very, very fond of the classic 900 looks and ours was a striking color.
Funny how you just get a car or house all fixed up and sell it. Our '93 had never looked better as we had just had some minor parking lot dents paid for by other folks insurance and had the hood painted too, plus the body shop detailed and Cameron never looked nicer. Now I'm starting all over again with the '96. I know lots of folks with good V6's and particularly with the desire for an automatic, a NG900 was the way to go.
