I bought a Mercedes windshield sticker (ya know, the stupid thing with the Daimler signature that goes under the inspection sticker) around the end of December/beginning of January. The seller sent the wrong sticker, a different one than pictured.
I sent the sticker back in January, and he agreed to send the right one. A few weeks later (after a reminder email sent to him), he informed me that the decal I needed was discontinued, which it is not (verifed at MB dealer) and offered to send the wrong one back. I asked for my money back, he didn't respond, this was now the middle of February. Feb 15th, I again asked for a refund, and he finally responded that he would do it that weekend. Nothing. On Feb 21st (one week ago), I sent another message asking if there was a problem. Haven't heard back.
Haha now that I've put you to sleep like my charming Decision Analysis professor, should I send him an email warning him that I'll be contacting Paypal and/or AMEX?
Or should I just go ahead and notify Paypal? Does it reflect negatively on me to dispute the charge with AMEX?
Sorry to be so rambling...you can wake up now!
