with Windows? Should we change to Mac just because some zealots think so? Now that Mac isn't even running any special kind of hardware but just the slower of the 2 available PC CPU manufacturers, there's even less reason to change.
I have both a laptop and a self-built PC. Both running WinXP and both never crashing or making bluescreens. I have lots of friends who have the same experience. The only one who's having problems at the moment has a hardware issue.
It's a bit ironic talking about PCs being expensive when you're comparing with Macs. An example: did you know that the $800 Apple Cinema 20" displays use the exact same panel as the ~$500 Dell 2005FPW? Now that is what I call getting bent over.
