You can almost always find a good sale on mattresses anywhere from 40-50% off of MSRP. You might want to try combining a sale with opening a Credit Card with the dept store to get an additional 10% off. I bought mine at a local department store with a special $100 off mailer coupon, on sale, and opened an account to get even more savings. My S&F (Queen) was $2499 MSRP and I bought it for <$1100 with all discounts etc. and it was a split box ($100 extra).

Also, S&F is really good about their warranty. After 5 yrs of use and 2 moves (GA, CA, MN), I noticed it was sagging some (Queen plush pillow-top) . I contacted S&F and they sent a local person to inspect my bed. After he inspected it he thought it was in spec but sagging some. He advised S&F that it should be replaced. The process was to go to local stores to find the bed I wanted and contact S&F to see if it was comparable or an upgrade. (Basically if the name starts with same letter, its same. But there is difference between styles: pillow-top, box-top, etc.) Anyway, they replaced the mattress with the one I picked for no charge and allowed me to keep my old mattress (They would take it away for me if I wanted)
