Is wood a good idea? I have been to certain parts of the country where a lot of people are burning fireplaces. The air stinks. Some environmentalist say Red China is no good because they burn wood. Those same environmentalist say Africans and Brazilians are no good because they strip the forest and burn wood. When you burn something, you're contributing to global warming. When you drive too big a car, especially an SUV, you are a hypocrite if you protest global warming.
How about wind and solar power for home electricity? I wonder what do people in hurricane prone areas do? Just get there solar panels busted when a hurricane throws around debris?
