I had an interesting visit this morning at what certainly is a contender for title of smallest and/or oldest Saab Dealership in the US.
The showroom room has room for two vehicls, a 9-7X and 9-3SC were on display.
The sole full-time salesperson (judging from single occupied desk in showroom) is also the owner of the Dealership.
The current owner took over the store from his father 22 years ago.
The father opened the dealership doors for the first time on April 1st 1959, over 47 years of same family ownership!
But business must be good. The owner said he delivered seven 9-7X's last month and has 16 on the lot now. I saw four 9-3 SC's, one 9-2X, and quite a few 9-3SS and 9-5's on the New Car side of the property. Approximately six Saabs of various models (and one Saturn) on the Used Car side.
Oh yes, this was in Flint, MI.
