...Lack of reverse and popping out of reverse. Rust. If auto tranny, failure to shift through the gears. Any trany pinion whine at speed. Pops out of any gear or hard to get into any gear if manual/standard. Cracks in the lower control arms (you need to look closely). Lack of catalytic converter heat shield. Failure of top to open or close. Tears in top. Make sure hood release works. Spray car with water and look for water puddles on the floor. Torn window seals B/T front and rear windows. Failure of front and rear windows to line up when fully taken down then put back up, then doors openned and closed (in that order). Pull the plugs and look for crap. All switches for windows, lights, A/C, defogger, hazzard work. Mirrors work, both sides. Uneven rough engine. CV joint clacking on tight turns. Steering wobble on turns with speed. Radio not operative. Lighter not operative (both imply wiring probs in dash). Cruise control doesn't work. Power locks don't work. Brakes unevenly. Scratched rotors. Ebrake sticks and won't release or disconnected due to this problem. Tough to turn ignition switch. No or poor turbo boost if turbo model. Black smoke in tailpipe. Bad idle. etc, etc...
