Absolutely some of the craziest 3 months of my life....
1) September 5th or so - came home after work just to find my 9 year old Basset Hound completely paralyzed in his hind legs. No movement at all. Choice was $12,000+ for surgery or the holistic way...4 acupuncture treatments later, and he's walking. Moving like a drunken sailor but he's at least getting around now. SO...THANK YOU DR. COURET!
2) October 2nd - Found out we're going to have our first child! The Mrs. is 3 months along now and all is fine, I'm so ecstatic and cannot wait for this journey to begin. SO...THANK YOU SWEETHEART FOR BEING WITH ME THROUGH THICK AND THIN! YOU ARE MY WORLD AND YOU WILL BE THE BEST MOTHER A CHILD COULD HAVE AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU FOREVER!
3) October 5th thought 26th - Have had random weird chest pains and thought it was either indigestion or an ulcer at worst. Tums and aspirin helped lots....until the 26th when the pain got worse and I stood up off the couch to just about black out. Turns out I had a massive blood clot that formed in my right coronary artery...yes, I'm 36 years old and just had a pretty massive heart attack. My wife rushed me to the hospital and within 20 minutes I was having Angioplasty and 2 coronary stents placed in my heart. No plaque, cholesterol levels almost perfect, and blood pressure normal as can be. Bad genes and I have extra thick blood it turns out. By far the most humbling experience of my existence, and this has changed my life around in so many ways. SO...THANK YOU MODERN TECHNOLOGY! AND THANK YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS, FAMILY, CO-WORKERS, AND OF COURSE MY DEAR WIFE WHO WERE BY MY SIDE THROUGH ALL OF THIS...I LOVE YOU ALL!
To everyone on this site, I thank you for this mixed wealth of knowledge that floats around this board on a daily basis. The amount of posts on here make it a daily addiction to read. You've all helped in so many ways from simple fixes and adjustments to regular maintainence that I never thought I could do on my own. You should all be proud of yourselves for being part of a community like this as everything is absolutely appreciated.
