I question the motives of MotoMan, perhaps trying a sensational opinion to sell his services? His photo of a Honda 650 Hawk piston following break-in, Hawk 650's haven't needed breaking in for 15 years. I guess that he's been doing this since then.
I'm sticking with the "experts". See my link. I followed this with my 2002, and it kicked in TSC with 1-2 automatic upshifts when my OEM Michelins had less than 5,000 miles on them, dry pavement.
