As Bill Homer said, check with you company. In my case, see below, I settled with my own company , minus deductible. After they settled with the other party's company, they paid me back my deductible.
It's comical to think that an '89 9000S for $500 is comparable to an SPG. As nice as the 9000s are, you can explain that your car had a turbo and was, oh yeah, a different car. Tell them that if they want to compare dis-similar cars with yours, then they need to consider that '89 Porsche 959 on ebay. That'll fetch close to a million bones, at that one has a turbo! (ha ha).
Hope things work out. Remind them that, since they can't even find a single car like yours (same model would be the first place to start, right?), your car will be very difficult, if not impossible to replace. That means extra expense is required, be it in transporting a car from some distant state, or in transportation expenses while you wait for a similar car to show up fairly locally.
