The Aerons and Mirras are junk.
I just finished upgrading my chair in the office. For years I've sat on a run down office max chair that we rolled out of hell. I loooove what I do, I love the people and the work...I skip to work every morning...but the pain in the ass, back, thighs was getting too much to bear.

I found a barely used Steeelcase Leap chair on crgslist and snapped it up the very same evening for $250. Chair is amazing! Well worth it! I get up after 9 hours and I don't even feel as if I've sat at all! My boss has the Aeron and I was not impressed, it was one size too small, but the plastic rims around the fabric - chair outlines - did not feel that great when I leaned back.....

Would I have spent $850 on a fully loaded Leap? Probably not. Having sat in one for the past three weeks I would GLADLY pay up to $500 for one....
head straight to that famous auction site for deals on the Steeelcase Leap...there are a few in California going for cheap....

The independent lower/upper back tension controls are amazing, but my fav has to be the feature that allowes you to "roll the lip" of the seat bottom so the backs of your thighs are comfortable when sitting....I can't rave enough.

Let's review:
If you can get a Steelcase Leap for under $500; get it! You spend many hours in the office, you deserve it.... that 250 Staples chair can't hold a light to a Leap...now you're only talking $500-250 or a $250 premium.
"Doooo it!"
