I want peoples opinion, I have a 4 year old Heat Pump AC/Heater. I have been using High End 3M filters with MERV rating 10-12 and change them every 3 months. Every time the HVAC company comes and does the preventive maintaince twice a year, they say these filters make the "blower motor" work harder! Therefore there is chance the motor may not last as long. Does anyone have an expert opinion on this?
