New tires! Nokian WRs

I just put on a set of Nokian WRs (205/60x15) on my '96 9000 and was surprised to see what a nice dry road tire they are. I have them on my daughter's car year-round (which I rarely drive), but was quite impressed with them on my car which has been wearing Nokian NRVIs (205/55x16) all summer.
The WRs are a bit softer riding than the NRVIs, but the turn-in is still good and adhesion is great, as tested on one of my favorite on ramps. I'm looking forward to trying them out in some snow.
I got these because I need a decent snow tire part of the time each winter, but don't need an all out winter tire since most winter driving is on dry roads, or in conditions where a "real" snow tire isn't necessary but where my summer tires wouldn't do. I figure these will wear better in the dry than a regular snow tire.
It was nice to get rid of the Dunlop Graspics I'd had that came new with the car. They were good in snow, but only Q-rated, and were quite noisy. The WRs are hardly silent, but they are OK.
