I plan on keeping through the end the CPO, but then I don't know. It depends among other things on what Saab has to say about all of this. Now that there is a new president and new customer service in TX (combined with Cadillac), I think I will try once more in writing to Saab to try to at least get my suspension properly addressed. To date Saab has never responded in writing despite letters about various issues and has failed to resolve any of the more complex issues for which it didn't already have some policy guideline in place.

I just had about $1000 in warranty work for things that should never break (blower fan, wiper motor, rear shocks and springs (been less than 10K since the last ones)) and only the wiper problem is actually fixed. I just wouldn't want to spend this kind of money out of pocket and I am tired of going to the dealer all the time. There are many nagging issues, most problems across numerous cars that Saab won't address. Some include front seat movement, rear suspension, xenon headlight flicker, tranny kick, hard/slow cranking, tailgate dampers, etc. Some claim these are design related but intentional. In my opinion all of the issues are design related, but unintentional and thus design defects. The manufacturer relies on the dealers but fails to support them. I have had dealers tell me flat out they get insufficient help in comparison to say Volvo which at least supports the product according to my source. I think without this BB and others Saab as a brand might not exist.

I am also beginning to see more rust than I would like in places like wiper arms, door hinges, tailgate latch, and of course rock chips which I fix as I find them.
