get VT winter in NJ. Are the bolts or threads corroded ? You didn't say.
As Ari and oldsaab said, put anti-sieze coating on the wheel mating surface this time.
I did have some problem with my wife's 9-5 (this is a known problem with alloy/steel wheels on the 9-5). One alloy wheel would not come off when I tried to put on winter tires; managed to break the bond by driving around with the lug bolts loosened a bit.
I usually use a piece of cloth and put some anti-sieze on it then wipe a coat on the contact areas on the hub center as well as any mating surface on the back of the wheel. The anti-sieze I use is grey in color so I know the covered area when I wipe it on.
I use WD-40 on the lug bolts threads and a torque wrench to tighten the wheel bolts.
