I have also noticed Koren brand tires on GM built rental cars. But I have not seen any Korean brand tires in the assembly plants , nor on new vehicles parked on Dealer lots.
Is this another way to save a few dollars on the cars bought for specifically for rental fleet use?
Or do the Rental companies do the right thing and replace tires in sets of four when a new tire gets damaged by a customer - but opt for the least expensive tire that meets the vehicle specs?
