If you get a flat where would you get a compressor? The air jack and compressor would pretty much fill your trunk.....and of course there's the problem of where you would plug in the compressor......most roads do not have electrical outlets on them.
SERIOUSLY, consider an aluminum 1.5T capacity hydraulic floor jack. It is light and easy to handle....and does not require a compressor. They're readily available for $75-$150.
Personally, I'd stick with the little piece of s#$t that comes with the car. In my most recent (1993-2007) 580K miles of travel I've had exactly TWO on-the-road flats; my other 10-15 tire leaks were all identified through my semi-weekly tire checks, and repaired at home.
