1. Have her employer join the local chamber of commerce and volunteer to go to some of the meetings.
2. Participate in all the school activities for her kids.
3. Find new friends in Bay City and ask her friends about singles they know about.
4. You can also go on match.com but consider doing all the other steps first, not this step first.

Darn, I misread the comment. She is looking for a job, not a husband or lesb. wife.

1. Contact Dow again. Does she know anyone left there?
2. If can't find work, how about a short time volunteer for the library then use that as your current work experience. This is particularly true if she wants office work. That looks better than working at the grocery store.
3. Check newspapers and that cra....list.
4. Ask employers at church, tell them she is available and reliable.
5. Care for elderly people for a living?
