I've used the Icons for about 1 1/2 years. I am on my 2nd pair and they work well. They streak just a little bit in the low corners of the windshield, but other than that they wipe very well on my car. Since I only need to change them every 9 to 10 months, they cost about the same as the other blades I have tried and work well. They have never streaked, but get a little "cloudy" when they should be replaced. I think where you live may determine how often the blades should be changed. Dry hot climates tend to cause the rubber to deteriorate faster than cooler more humid climates. I cannot find refills anywhere around where I live. This includes Advanced Auto, Auto Zone and Wal Mart. I brought this up at one of the stores and they said that they don't have any refills because most customers didn't know how to install them properly and just buy the replacment blades. Don't know if this is the case, but the reality is that I cannot find refills, so I have to buy the blades. Closest dealer is 30 miles away.
