Generally large, poin ted, unweirdly items like that are put in wood crates. I suppose with some careful wrapping you might use cardboard. I think FEDEX ground is the best bet if it's not over their limits. UPS is very expensive for large packages. It might have to go by "truck" (semi).
Weight will vary by car and whether the motors and glass are in there.
