Well....first off...and with all due respect...
S*it happens to cars...that said
I don't crank my SAAB (presently in storage) for more than 15/20 secs at a time...yes, you may have 2 or 3 cycles of this procedure until the oil light goes off...
Then let it sit....idling until the t-stat needle moves out of the "dead-cold" red zone, and starts climbing...
Then an easy drive until at "normal" op temp....
Stuff can happen over the winter....but IMHO reading this does not surprise me...
Top it off, and drive it (easy)...(not bad-ass Viggen style--at least for the moment)
Then, calm down and re-evaluate things....
