Back around 1974 I owned a 1970 Olds W31. It was esentailly a W30 except for the fact it had a 335 horse 350 instead of the 455. I seem to recall seeing a few of them around back in the day but I haven't seen one for sale or at a car show in years. W30's seem pretty plentiful in comparison. I once saw a book with production numbers and supposedly they only made about 600 W31's. That makes it a pretty rare bird. Hemmings doesn't even have any for sale--they seem to have fallen off the radar screen. I recently saw one for sale locally and it got me wondering about my old car. Do they have any extra value due to rarity? Are these cars even known to collectors? I know this is way off topic, but I have great faith in the Saabnet brain trust on just about any topic.
