We live in SE Aurora/Centennial area of Denver. 2nd Generation Denver area resident. For years, the long term residents here have tried to "keep the secret" form getting out of how great it is here! Specifically the dryer climate, great outdoor recreation - especially the mountain activities. Regretfully, the news leaked out and Denver/Colorado population has just exploded during the past 10 years. Living costs has increased as result. Where to look? Boulder, Golden and the South West part of town (against the foothills) is most expensive, but closer to the mountains. South Aurora/Centennial offers the best housing value but is farthest from the mountains. Washington Park area, central Denver is best area for near city living, a bit less expensive. The foothills: Evergreen, Hiwan areas provide mountain living about 30 minutes from Denver (cooler in the Summer- closet to ski areas). Location depends on what your looking for. Contact me if you wish.
