Boulder is a slum compared to Aspen, or stated another way I don't think it's in the same league regards per capita income. I have to go to that slum fairly often on business and I don't think there are nearly the number of Saabs now that folks had in the 80s.
Likely a good number of Saab verts in Aspen ? They are pretty classy rides.
I may be headed to Aspen in August for my annual backpack trip - we may return to Snowmass Lake, even thought it's now overused, but it's still a beautiful destination - I would hike in there several times a year in the 80s and early 90s and the fishing for rainbows was simply awesome. The roaring fork remains very good fishing.
I used to ski there in the early 80s as well, places like the hotel Jerome were very cool especially before they were renovated.
Hope you enjoy Aspen, it is a wonderful place.
