Trying to help a friend whose 86 Audi 4000 5 cylinder coupe is showing signs of head gasket failure. He has done some DIY work and is an EE by training, but he thinks it will be a great father/son project. Does anyone know of a twinsaab.com like site with a pictorial how to that will give him an idea of how difficult it will be?

By the way, the car has a SAAB-like over 300,000 miles on its original engine, second clutch, exhaust, struts and brakes with only minor other repairs up to this date. He is the second owner at 70,000 miles and runs it around NoCal and into Tahoe ski country. Sun has evaporated the alpine white paint to almost nothing, but no rust. Hates to have to part with it, so I hope we can help him out.
