While waiting for my plane to pull away from the jetway at NYC's La Guardia Airport I saw a 9-5 wagon, possibly an '02~'04 Linear, parked
near the terminal building next to the other airport vehicles, and like the others The 9-5 is painted in Port Authority of NY/NJ livery with a light bar on its roof. Has anyone else seen it? Does any know its purpose or use in this government fleet? I understand that SAAB is part of GM but seeing a 9-5 wagon amongst their usual wheels such as the Suburbans and Savanahs it's almost surreal. If they needed a smaller more fuel effecient vehicle, then why not a Malibu wagon or, gasp! an Aztek(surly they can be had for much cheaper $$$)of the same year.
