they announced it in the wall street journal and on the day of the announcement spyker stock had a substantial gain, but spyker car company became a company by thinking smart, they announced their plans for saab and why they would be interested in buying the company, their ideals are a perfect win, win, situation for them. the brand name saab that has a substantial amount of enthusiasts is in the matter of speaking a small brand name with only 1,100 dealers worldwide but just big enough for the spyker car company to afford.... that is if they wait until saab has bottomed out,.. as in buy it for pennies on a dollar.
but a little reality a spyker car is 60,000+ when spyker gets their hands on saab i guarantee a saab wont be your average mom and pops baby pusher, the design of saab will radically change and the car will be in the same price market as a lambo, bentley, Austin martin, i believe 100% spyker has the mind and ideals to do it.
good news for saab but how many lambo`s you see running up and down the street.
