I am planning a very last minute road trip down the east coast. I am leaving Connecticut on Wednesday night around 6pm, and am just heading south with a buddy. I have to be back at work on Tuesday morning, so time is an issue. We will be in my 90 900 TC, so we are on the hunt for some warm weather, and interesting places to visit. I have driven down the coast 2 times, both with the destination in mind, but this time I have nothing planned, no idea where to go, and no idea where we will end up. We are both interested in finding some cool architecture, outdoor stuff like the beach or hot springs/mud baths, anything interesting. I know that some of you on here can help me out and narrow down my search to make this road trip great. We will be camping, if it is possible , and we are on a budget, so free things/ cheap would be the best, although if there is something so incredible that costs a little more but we would be foolish to miss we are willing to open our wallets. I have no quams about driving up to 20 hours away, so basically I can make it all the way to jacksonville FL, but would prefer not to drive that far. As long as I get away from the NE weather for a few days, on drive some sweet roads ( The Blue Ridge Parkway) I will be satisfied. Thanks for the help!!
