Saab stuck throttle history

Sticking throttles were an issue with Saabs at least twice. The early Saab 99 had a recall to retrofit with throttle heater kit using hoses from engine cooling system and a new warmed throttle assembly to prevent throttle icing under condensing/freezing conditions when cruising at constant throttle. I believe that 99 and C900 models always had bronze bushings for the throttle plate. On the early NG900, Saab issued a TSB to repair inadequately plated steel throttle plate bushings, and could cause throttle binding when they corroded.
