depending on the engine (2 liter 4 cyl or 3.8 liter 6 cyl)
The new Sonata is very interesting. I want to drive one and see about the steering, road feel and seats. It's meant to be a mainstream kind of car, but one wonders to what extent they plan to poach on the territory of Audi and BMW.
Motor Trend recently had an article in which they drove 2 Genesis sedans across Europe. The cars were fine but lacked the feel of control at high autobahn speeds that you'd get in an upper end Euro sedan, but otherwise were pretty good.
Hyundai makes some bottom-feeder models, but their other stuff is getting better and better, and seem to offer a lot for the dollar. Durability is another issue, and only time will tell on that.
