About a year ago we bought my elderly mom a Sylvania LCD TV and "upgraded" her service to AT&T Uverse. The picture is great but now there is no simple way to watch TV. Two remotes are mandatory (one to change channels and the other to operate the volume and turn on and off the TV. Sometimes she will accidentally hit the wrong button on one of the remotes (e.g. switches the input on the tv remote or hits VOD on the uverse remote). This causes her great frustration and lots of anxiety. Does anyone here know if there is a way to disable unused buttons on the remotes (sort of child lock for the elderly) or a simpler option where only one remote will control everything. We have called the ATT help line and they are fairly useless. I know this must be a common problem. Thanks to all!
