It seems that it isn't much regulation to these load rating numbers and speed letters because on well known high quality brand tires, it tough to find the proper load and speed rating without some ridiculous money.
On the other hand, low cost tires of more or less unknown brands seems to be able to carry both high speed and load rating with ease. Why is that.
So what is better. Buy a high quality tire from a well known brand with lesser speed and load rating or a cheapy tire of unknown quality and brand with correct speed and load rating.
I suspect the well known brand will glue to the surface better even without the speed rating.
