I use Amsoil gas stabilizer every fall when we put away the Aero and the 9-3 cv. Even more of a concern now is the seperation of ethanol and water in small engines with fuel stored only a realitive short period of time. It causes a "lean burn" which has been the cause of many small engine problems, especially bad in two cycle engines. Amsoil has developed a product, "Quick Shot" to prevent the seperation. I have been using it since July and have had zero performance issues in the golfcart, chainsaw, weed wacker or lawn tractor. Some of my friends, not aware of the issue, have had major engine problems.
Let's see...1 gal of diesel to make 1 gal of ethanol....poorer fuel mileage, price of livestock grain and your morning cornflakes going up....ethanol plants subsidised by the taxpayer...and now the EPA wants to put 15% ethanol in gasoline. Makes sense only in Washington D.C. JD
